Learn to Play and Group Clinics

To build your tennis skills and understanding of the mental aspects of play, try a Weymouth Club clinic or drop-in. We have options for newbies through experienced players.

Progressive Tennis Instruction

101 (Beginner)

Start with the basics: forehand, backhand, volleys and serves, as well as the rules and etiquette of the game.

102 (Advanced Beginner)

Work on consistency, shot placement, aggressive net play, proper tactical patterns of play, footwork and structuring points.

103 (Intermediate)

Develop power in your shots. Learn the slice and topspin, plus specialty shots like drop shots and lobs. The mental aspects of situational drills and match play are also covered.

104 (Advanced)

Led by our top pros, take your singles and doubles games to the next level. Learn through intense situational drills and a focus on handling the mental aspects of match play.

Fast-Track Tennis

This class is designed for players to learn how to play tennis is just 3 weeks! With one group class a week, our tennis professionals will teach you all of the basics. Racquet provided, if needed.

Drop-In Clinics

Cardio Tennis Drop-Ins

This high-energy, full-body fitness class combines the best features of tennis with cardiovascular exercises. Burn up to 700 calories an hour. Prior tennis experience not required! Racquet provided, if needed.

Thursdays and Saturdays, 9:30–10:30 a.m.

Sundays, 9:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m.

50/50 Transition Cardio Tennis

Go through 45 minutes of cardio tennis followed by 45 minutes of intermediate/advanced tennis instruction.

Wednesdays, 7:00–8:30 p.m.

Doubles Drop-In

This dynamic play-action format focuses on priorities and positions, offense/defense and general considerations that affect the quality of your doubles game.

Thursdays, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 noon

Ladies 3.0–3.5 Singles Clinic

For women with an NTRP rating of 3.0 to 3.5. Combined instruction and drills specifically designed for singles. Learn when to close the net, how to identify your opponent’s weaknesses, and much more.

Thursdays, 9:30–11:00 a.m. and 7:00–8:30 p.m.

Sunday Singles Drills 3.5+

For players with an NTRP rating of 3.5 or higher. If you’re serious about your game and looking to play better this season, this clinic is for you. Develop a sound singles strategy to play smarter on the court.

Sundays, 9:00–10:30 a.m.

Serve & More

Improve your serve and the shots surrounding it, including the return, serve and volley, and doubles play.

Fridays, 9:30–10:30 a.m.

4 and a Pro

Customize your group. Choose your pro. Choose your time. This clinic meets for 1.5 hours for 8 weeks.

$312 for members, $392 for non-members

Organized Play

Round Robin Tennis

Two hours of doubles play, followed by a catered social gathering.

2 Fridays per month from 7:00–9:00 p.m.

$30 for members, $40 for non-members

Senior Masters’ Tennis

Round robin doubles play for senior participants. All levels welcome.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 1:30–3:00 p.m.
