Our group fitness programs have five areas of focus:

Programs

90 Day Commit to Get Fit

Focus: Lifestyle Change and Weight Loss

Setup: Groups of 10 to 20 people, meets 1 time per week for 12 weeks

Weymouth Club’s most popular program, 90 Day Commit to Get Fit includes a complete health assessment, biometric screenings and in-depth nutrition and fitness education through weekly group meetings.

FitCamp

Focus: Weight Loss and Improved Fitness Level

Setup: Groups of 3 to 6 people, meets 2 times per week for 10 weeks

Our FitCamp weight loss program incorporates 5 nutrition sessions with a registered dietitian, 20 small-group training sessions, a pre- and post- Bod Pod analysis and 3 fitness tests, along with online resources for support, including a private Facebook group. The program also uses weekly challenges and a point system for rewards, including a final prize of $400 for the winner.

Countdown to 5K

Focus: Fitness Endurance Training

Setup: 2 group training / run sessions per week for 6 weeks

Spring from the couch to the finish line with Weymouth Club’s group running program. Program features twice-weekly runs, weekly workouts, and nutrition and fitness tips for runners. Program concludes with team participation in a local road race.

The Zone

Focus: Maintenance

Setup: Groups of 4 to 6 people, meets 2 times per week for 8 weeks

Build a life-long, steady routine of health and fitness. This program is for people looking to maintain their current weight, improve body composition or continue to lose weight slowly and safely. It’s also ideal for those finishing FitCamp or 90 Day Commit to Get Fit.

In addition to group training, the program includes 2 Bod Pod tests, along with nutrition guidance and support via meetings and emails.

TABATA

Focus: Extreme

Setup: Small-group training in 30-minute sessions offered 2 times per week. Pay a monthly fee for unlimited classes or a drop-in fee for single classes.

TABATA is a form of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) with 20 seconds of hard work followed by 10 seconds of rest for a total of 4 minutes. Performing 6 TABATAS per session will leave you feeling depleted yet highly accomplished. It’s an awesome fat-burning, full-body conditioning workout in just 30 minutes.

The Gauntlet

Focus: Extreme

Setup: Ongoing, so you can jump in or out at any time. Sessions are held twice per week.

Take your conditioning to a whole new level. This program pairs HIIT with competitive fitness challenges to test your mental and physical stamina.

Participants work out using a military-style training method with battling ropes, monster tires, sledge hammers, power bags, strength bags and speed sleds. Program is held indoors or outdoors depending on the season.

Adult Athlete Performance

Focus: Athletes

Setup: 3 to 6 athletes, 2 times per week for 1 hour, 8 weeks

This group-training program is individually customized for anyone with a physical goal, which could be completing a certain number of pushups, competing in a triathlon or running a 5K. Aim high and test yourself!

Sports Performance for Student Athletes

Focus: Athletes/Youth

Setup: Groups of 3 to 6 athletes. Sessions are 1 hour and meet twice per week. Pay a monthly fee for unlimited classes or a drop-in fee for single classes.

Specifically designed for middle/high school athletes of all sports, this program Improves strength and speed, dramatically reduces the risk for injury, fosters individual improvement and encourages team bonding.

Each session has an active warm-up, linear and lateral speed development, agility training, plyometrics (jumping) and core strengthening.

Kids with Energy

Focus: Youth

Schedule: 2 or 3 days per week for 1 hour. Pay a monthly fee for unlimited classes or a drop-in fee for single classes.

This motivational program is designed to encourage physical activity, self-esteem, personal success, confidence, strength and healthy eating habits among children ages 7–11.

Teens with Energy

Focus: Youth

Schedule: 1 or 2 times per week for 1 hour. Pay a monthly fee for unlimited classes or a drop-in fee for single classes.

Help your teen (ages 12–16) take his or her fitness routine to the next level. This program builds athletic ability, self-esteem and confidence.
